XChat is X’s encrypted direct messaging experience. Inboxapp supports XChat so your conversations can sync into your workspace.
  1. Go to Linked Accounts.
  2. Select Connect X Account and complete authentication.
  3. When prompted, enter your XChat PIN.
The PIN lets Inboxapp sync your XChat conversations. Your PIN and messages are encrypted on our servers.

Why the PIN is required

X requires the PIN for third-party apps to access XChat messages. Without it, Inboxapp cannot retrieve or sync those conversations.

  • Only you can access synced messages through your workspace.
  • We do not store your PIN in plain text.
