When you’re asked for a PIN

If your X account uses XChat, Inboxapp asks for your XChat PIN after you link the account. Enter it once; Inboxapp handles the rest. X requires the PIN for third-party apps to read XChat messages. Without it, encrypted conversations can’t sync.

  • Messages and PIN codes are encrypted on our servers.
  • Only members of your team can access synced messages.
  • We never store your PIN in plain text.
