# LinkedIn messages in Inboxapp

> Manage LinkedIn messages in Inboxapp: send, reply, react, and share files, with read and archive synced both ways. Runs in the cloud.

Inboxapp brings your LinkedIn messages into the same inbox as the rest of your DMs. [Link your account](/help/get-started/link-accounts) and everything syncs in the background — there's nothing extra to set up.

<Tip>
  **Runs in the cloud.** Once your account is linked, Inboxapp keeps working
  without you. You don't need your browser or LinkedIn open, and teammates can
  manage the account from their own computers.
</Tip>

| You can | On LinkedIn |
| - | - |
| **Message people** | Send, reply to, forward, edit, and unsend messages |
| **React** | React to any message |
| **Send media** | Images, GIFs, and files |
| **Start new conversations** | Search your LinkedIn network and message them |
| **Stay in sync** | Read and archived states sync both ways with LinkedIn |
| **Track contacts** | Statuses, tags, notes, and assignees on every contact |
| **Work as a team** | Share the inbox and assign conversations |

Typing indicators work both ways, so you see when someone is writing back.
