# Import leads from post engagement

> Import profiles that liked, retweeted, replied to, or quote-tweeted a post into a lead list.

You can build a lead list from people who engaged with a post on X.

## Steps

1. Open a lead list (or [create one](/help/leads-management/organize/create-your-first-lead-list)).
2. Click **Add Leads**.
3. Choose the engagement import for the interaction you want:
   * **Likes** — typically your own posts
   * **Retweets**
   * **Replies**
   * **Quote tweets**
4. Paste the post URL (or select the post when prompted).
5. Start the import.

Import runs in the background. Credits apply on **Pro** — see [Plans and credits](/help/billing/billing-plans-and-credits).
